Entry for ~ari--hime's mahou shoujo contest! ^p^
I chose to draw Kiki as my favourite magical girl--- she's strong-willed and yet fragile at the same time, and she experiences many emotions like we do--- she's pretty much related to us in someway or another! Her magic lies within her heart-- Unlike other magical girls who embark on journies which seem quite impossible to happen to us, her journey is of self-searching and finding out what is her role and her spirit as well as determination is what i think we can learn from (*´・ｖ・)

Just did a ghibli movies marathon! I still like spirited away the most--- its so mystical and realistic at the same time. I think ghibli works use rather approachable way to potray social, economic and environmental issues of the world-- sorry if im mistaken, that's just my own opinion (:

First time trying copic marker on bristol board, i had a hard time finding the board though///
Its relatively smooth; and blending is okay-ish; pencil lines were easy to erase off; well inking-- some will feather, which is horrible. But overall, it was quite a good experience using it (●´∀｀●)
